Gandhi was an original philosopher. His contribution to philosophy is underappreciated due to his massive contributions to politics and history. One of his sustantive cotribution has been to enhance our understanding of diversity and its philosophical meaning along with arguments for the necessity of diversity in contemporary epoch of technology and ongoing industrial revolution. Diversity and Identity are both treated in a philosophically rigorous manner that aims to lend support to a non-violent world order. This paper will highlight Gandhi's contributions in these themes and will assess the truth value and practicality og his claims.
